a bit of acceleration, dont seem too major though bud! not proper thrashed it still though, but had 102 so far   runs sweet now

there are usual some cheap mantzel copies on ebay,  However if you can find one a second hand lexmaul would be more suited to your budget as you can get away with out a remap

Well i bought a rebuilt one for 80 quid... so not that much if you can find one should see 100 hp with x14 head

What   X16XEL is identical to an X16XE but with a lengthened inlet tract. X14XE and X16XE share these common parts...

yes but also x14xe and x16xel share the same head, x16xe head is a different part, also x16xel and x14xe have a different exhaust cam, whereas the x16xe has identical inlet and exhaust cams

definately worth investing in an inlet manifold...i wouldn't see any problem with those ones on ebay for £100! after all if you'd seen what a proper one looks like anyway its just a hollow box.
