me and a few of the lads (4 of us in total) are gonna hit the Towers

lovin it, cant wait

havnt been on the new ride "Rita queen of speed"

going on Thursday.. gonna have to leave at about 6am, to get there just before the gates open (we really are that keen)

well it should be pretty quiet all schools and Unis are back..

last year when we went at this time the longest we had to queue was about 20mins awesome

when u go, the que is massive for rita, go in the singles que! we went and the que was 2 hours if u wanted 2 sitt next 2 ur m8, we waited 10mins in the singles que

When I went on Rita with a friend recently we had to queue 1.5 hours because of "technical difficulties"... And the queue was full of weed smoking Scouse pissheads that look like they should have been locked up in a zoo...

Ive just got back from alton towers yesterday.

Stayed in the hotel, got priority passes for all rides breakfats payed for and free pass to the water park for a day. All that for £90!!


Its a class weekend too. I loved The Rides : Air, Oblivion, Rita, Nemesis.

With the priority passes we only waited 10 minutes max at each que.

Air is also amazing as you can be SUPERMAN for all of 2 minutes and it is truly awesome.

try and deadpan rita its not easy if you do it want buy the pic and scan it in post it up that is your challenge dead pan every ride and i mean no emotion on faces at all its a thing me and my mates do everytime we go funny as fook

I've been in October the past 2 years running, no queues not even to get in. Dont get there too early as the rides done open the same time as the gates they stagger the opening throughout the first hr or so

When I went on Hex - at about 5 mins to closing, we were the only ones on it - it was very strange.

Skipped Rita cos of the strupidly long queues, but got on Oblivion in under 10 mins

best bet is to head to rita the minute they let you in. Queue will be shorter and if you want the best ride, take the opportunity of the shorter queue to join the Front seats only queue. Its so much better at the front.
