right i have this bumper



which bits do i need to remove to fit this grille




Im presuming its the slat and the circular badge. If so what is the best way to remove?

you will have to saw away the existing grille to make it fit

yeah your right, ive done it to mine, best thing to use is a soldering iron as it melts the plastic and then use a hacksaw to tidy it up

so i cut here and remove the whole thing?



then just smooth it out etc

but how does the other grille attach as it only has those two bolt holes and there is no where for all of the little teeth to go

sorry bout the qestions but i want to be super sure before i butcher me bumper

yup cut it all out, the screw the new grill onto it.

are just those two srews at the top emough then?

also mark do you have any close up pics of your grille showing how it was fitted?

gavin - cut where you have marked,
then on the new grille, cut all the little tab things off the bottom of the grille,
then just drill two holes in to the mettle bit at the back and screw it in,
quite simple if you no what you have to do


the two screws will hold it on allright, check my garage for pics if you havent done so allready

i did see the pics in the garage and they did give me a bit of an idea.

I just wasent sure that the 2 screws were enough to hold it on securely enough

easier idea, sell the grille to me at a super cheap price cos its actually meant to fit my corsa's bumper!

wont cutting the badge bit off leave a big hole at the bottom middle of the bumper?

all fitted now

i didnt cut the little tabs off the grille in the end i just cut and filed the bumper so that they fitted onto it so its more secure

looks well, its a shame it isnt that easy with a gsi bumper as id have done it by now.

car in body shop shortly to have inside painted, will get it done then

I used this. the best tool i have ever brought for under £3 Considering that halfords and dremel sell the same attachments for about £5 each

I cut out the bits like you said and then on the bottom bit where the clips go i thined the plastic and shaped it so that the clips slotted in
