It's part of the bumper mate, it was the post 97 bumper with the chrome "V" Grill that you could remove.

If a company were to produce a pre 97 grill, me thinks they'd make a killing, providing it would secure properly!

Same here, been toying with the idea of geeting the gap filled for ages. Somuch easier if someone brought out an aftermarket grille.

People on here have cut the whole grill out and smoothed the rough bits before now, and just screwed it into the panel
