Nah, wish I was you old black devil you.

Took out a hideously massive loan over five years to consolidate all my debts and pay for a nice new half price, economical little runaround for work and shopping, and to just have one payment coming out of my account each month to pay for everything.

Still can't decide whether it was the wisest or stupidest thing i've ever done.

'spose time will tell.

Hmmm i am dubious about this decision as you bought a barge for an "economical runaround"

She's brand new and makes 257 brake & 302 lb ft despite the catalysts and modern emmissions control.
She comes with a modified Tremec gearbox with quick shift, quick rack with modified pump, Hydratrack LSD, Eibach linear rate springs with Bilstein shocks, stainless steel exhaust, 332 & 325mm brakes and Continental tyres, aswell as climate control, half leather, pearl paint, rear parking sensors, dimming rear view mirror, trip computer with message centre, auto locking, Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser, TrafficMaster and rain sensitive wipers.

Oh, and 24 months warranty

List price including tax £30,145.00

Picked her up for £14, 995 - about the same as a realy horrible MK V Golf with no power or torque.

So almost sensible realy and I can just about justify it

Also, is last chance ever to buy a brand spanking RWD V8 Rover, thanks to the evil thieving c*nts that ran our last remaining and historically well established large production capacity home grown vehicle manufacturer into the ground for their own greed.

I feel it also makes a nice little personal tribute to keep and appreciate a nigh on hand built piece of history in honour of all the decent hard working fellas that grafted so tirelessly for so long and to no avail at the Longbridge plant.

Best of all though, she ain't got no sunroof, so I can get in without hitting my head, and she ain't got no traction control so I can hang the arse out without a little electronic dictator making me stop, and she's 90 kilos lighter than the SE model so i'm off to a good start...

...hmm, thinks JR style dash and interior plus cage and carbon panels

My usual runaround is an E class Merc Fad, so just sticking to the pattern

Just filled her up again - there goes another 60 quid

No Rus, don't worry mate, she's a keeper (owes me too much money to sell), but only any good as a weekend warrior realy, too traffic unfriendly (especially with the heavy on/off style paddle clutch) and too juicy for daily usage. Oh, and pikeys try (and usually succeed) to steal them.

Plus, if I drove it any more than I already do, my license would last about as long as a beauty queen's virginity in the rapist wing of a maximum security prison.

Plus, over the next year or so, modded throttle body (extra 12 brake), under drive crank pulley kit, cone filter, race pipes and possibly a lairy cam kit.

Then in about five years when she's paid for and out of warranty, a blower kit - 400 brake minimum and 420 lb ft

Look into the bulkhead, the bulkhead the bulkhead, not around the bukhead; into the bulkhead.

Right, you never had a whole dash and this is perfectly normal and is standard equipment now... 3-2-1... and you're back in the car
