wot kinda induction kits have you lot used i have just bought a bmc cda induction kit and was wondering if any of you have these???

ive got a random cheap as hell £15 induction kit thing i bought at donny this year. works fine enough for me

piperX, helps accelerate a lot more at higher speeds (foot down at 60 it will pull a lot better than air box), not a massive at lower speeds.

i have the 1.6 sport is it gonna make much difference 2 my performance

i love the way ppl are willing to cheap out on something which can totally ruin ure car.... spend a few extra quid and buy a proper filter like Pipercross or K&N .etc instead of max flower one's

the pvd is alot larger than the pipercross, i didnt think it would of made a differnce but it did

Pipercross with heatshield!! Didnt wok to well without the heat shield. Kept getting flatspots on long motorway journeys at high speed.

i'm trying to find a k&n filter panel and put air box back on drilled near arch cos it drinks hot air in summer (not enough cool air to keep engine bay cool) plus i've heard they can kill air flow metre

I have a 1.6 Sport with the bmc, a Janspeed exhaust and de-cat pipe and it came off the rolling road at 125 bhp. I'd like to think the bmc was worth a little more than 2 bhp... especially as it's jumped 19 bhp over standard!

so ur car has got a little bit quicker and is that all u have dun 2 it cos i have a straight through pipe rede 2 b fitted

which RR was this then either that is a dodgy reading, or you have an extremely strong 16XE under there. 19bhp from just those mods seems a little high, especially with the strangled inlet you have on there now.

i bought a k&n induction kit for my gsi, made it roar like f*ck. i put a cat-back system on aswell and i can't say i really noticed any differance from standard till i ported/skimmed my head
