Doing a 5 stud conversion on my corsa gsi, have been told to buy the outer CV joints from a MK2 Cav as they will fit the GSi shafts and 2ltr hubs?

Is this correct as i have just ordered them or does anyone know what will do the job?

Cheers

Helpful answers only plz

I thinks it'd only be possible when running a big block lump, the 5 stud hub will only take a big block cv which means the shaft won't fit.... i think

im looking into this conversion on my 1.6 as well
my idea was to have the 5 stud hubds modified with the splines out of the 4 stud hub somehow. i've got it all pictured in my head but its awkward to put into words

If you get the cav mk2 outer cv joints they supposedly fit the gsi shaft/sport shafts and also fit into the 2ltr hubs if so its a piece of cake just getting my hubs drilled out now instead found a company to do them
