Hi this is my corsa -



as you can see in this pic -


my corsa is multi coloured red, whats the best way of polishing it up? i want it sparkling shiny red all over? how do i acheive this after 13 years of sun lol!! what products are best to use?

Damn thats in need of tlc

Car = Tcut and a very good wax/polish then probably do it all again lol
bumpers = Black to black wax stuff
Tyres = wet tyre shine stuff

go halfords and get it all, i used have a red and needed waxing and tcuting every week, i'd put standard lights back on looks beter seing as you tried to colour code bits n bobs

meguiars 3 stage kit and a lotta elbow grease will be a glass bright finish afterwards

Get it professionally mopped by a body shop, if you wax it and keep it waxed the colour should keep longer

yeh my old 1 was like this, tcut and polish for a week, then wax. does come up eventually. Maybe buy an electric polisher.flame red cars should come with one really lol

yeah i thought the paint was fecked... it was so pink my brother assured me it would come up red again though.. i was amazed at the result

Well everyone seems to have thier own methods, but if u take it to a bodyshop then you wont have 2 do any work . Probly only cost about 50 quid for them to do it.
But if you wanna do it yourself... i'd advise this:
Use t-cut all over twice, or g3.
Using an electric buffer (only about £15-20) go over the car with meguires scratch-x. this will remove any haze that the compounds have left and give a wet-look shine.
Polish it with meguires gold class wax and do it regularly.
If your feeling really extravagent and want something even better than meguires... then buy some swissol. Only cost me 88 quid for a starter kit incl the cheapest wax they do :S. Still came up better than with meguires tho
