I don't get why everyone is giving this guy grief 
My GSi has been beaten many times by those pesky 1.4s with 1.0 boxes, makes a world of difference you know. A few guys I know with LET corsas have the F10 boxes to increase acceleration. Makes sense...

well then goes to show that you are wrong 
few people i know have 1.4 16v and they cant keep up and its not due to their driving its due to their car not having as much acceleration as mine!
the 1.0 box does slow it down, at top end as it only does 100 on 17's but mucho improves the pickup

2b fair iv heard this is a gud solution 2 poor acceleration but im not sure about beatin gsi's as mine has a Lexmaul inlet manifold, Piper X induction kit, 4-2-1 manifold, 4" flame tipped jap style back box & a Remus Centre section and couldnt keep up with my mates gsi but i spose only he knows if he can beat them or not really not 4 us to giv him greif about it!! but with 15s on the acceleration would b beta.

cheers mate, anybody that actually has a 1.4 on a smaller box would know im not talking shit
15's would be better and im currently looking for some either that or some 14's but they need to be wide as it spins up far to easily lol especially at the start of a race, ive tried driving it with 145's on lmao
