Getting tints done Saturday as the heat from the leather interior is a bit much in this weather. Now do I stay legal or get my front windows done with a lower tint of say 30%.

Ive stayed legal but you can get away with not having them to dark, just go limo on the back because then it will look silly up front.

Get the fronts done, but expect to be pulled for them if there anything but light tints. if you expect it, your not pissed off when the time finally comes and you have to get them removed .

OK you can have 30% on the fron side windows this is LEGAL. Then anything behind the B Piller. And you can have 25% on the front window screen but this can bring problem's with Police

SO the front window hase to let 75% of light in the Front side windows in front off the B piller has to let in 70% of light and behind the B piller anything you like

ive had 30 percent tints on the front for over 2years, ive never had any problems with the police etc......

if i was u id have up to the limit on the front and limo black all round.............the back tints will drop enough light in there so u wont notice much difference .......

You cant tint the front windows, full stop!! Glass doesnt let 100% of light through so as soon as you add a 30% tint plus the restriction of the window it makes them illegal!!! You may get away with it depending on how strict the police are in your area!!

Personally it looks so much better having the fronts done as well, but i would be worried about the cops!!

Thanks for the input everyone.

Im going to risk it and go 30% on the front 2, and limo black the rest.

Im not sure how bad the police are, if anything the community beat officer will be the problem. My mate got done for his number plate by one.

SORRY YOU AR RIGHT the reason i side you could tint the front window screen was that i was told that you could and have it written down on paper by the head of the Traffic Police here in Birmingham.

30% Is 100% LEGAL as long as ure front screen's dont have a tint on them Just get the place to right down what tint thay have fitted and LAMINATE it and keep it in the car to show police if you ar stopped
