Worthy of a feature in Total Vauxhall?

I want honest answers and I want to know why if you think its good enough to be featured and why if you don't think its good enough to be featured.

I also want to know what needs to be done if its not up to feature standard.

Kind Regards

Just to make you aware as well.

I have rear discs going on as soon as me and Lee arrange a date.

I have a new rear bumper that I need to take down to have sprayed due to the one on there at the moment having a slight dip in the middle. The engine now looks tidier, but still needs some paint to freshen it up so will have a word with bodyshop to see if they can do something with it (more than likely) and will speak to Lee at Fusion about some supension turret covers in chrome and I need to get a catch tank now I have a Mantzel so that will be added as well.

The headlining needs doing, but I was thinking a DIY job with sub box material for the time being

Your not the first to say that, heard a lot of rumblings about it on MIG.

Noticed this month it seems to be lacking in features, it has PVS and Brads Corsa and Jims Nova which are exceptional cars, oh and that Astra GSi but other than that it seems to be loads of ads at the back.

Yes Defo feature worthy , some of the novas in the past in the mag have been rank . 1 that i thought didnt deserve in it was the red/white rally theme one , granted it may be fast etc , but the bumper was hanging off the alloys were a state etc . yours is 100000x better ,

Scott.

Yeah that is I would expect them to say, BUT did that rallye theme one tell us anything different?

They had a proper chavved up Calibra in there a few issues back with E-Tec spoiler on it

I've sent them a e-mail.

Will wait and see.

In my opinion yes as i know a lot of time and effort has gone into it to make it a clean example.

But to the average reader of TV (not myself anymore) its just a clean nova on speedlines.

As Fear mentioned before its sooo hit and miss they seem to like chaved up lairy cars recently...I mean look at brads feature

In all honesty just lookin at Brads feature it dont look bad at all...maybe TV is on the way up....

there we go then shows when i last bought CCC

jr got the right idea going on tho. go for a feature in a mag whose readers will appreciate your car. not chavs who will view it as a nove on speedlines

I would say no, although you have put a lot of work into it and it is very nice, there are thousands more examples out there of your car.

Also IMO i wouldnt want my car featured in any mag, when i had my corsa it had the opportunity to be featured but I didnt want it featured, thats not what I was doing it for.

I would say if you want yur car to be featured as it is now you need to do the following.

Strip rear and cage.
Go mad cleaning under the hood and get lots of powder coating and samco hoses on the go.
Rear disks (as you have already said)
Go mad under the car and in the archs cleaning, replace wishbones etc with possibly chromed examples

All in all get it as concours as you can
