has anyone resprayed these themselves? how did it turn out? i want to refurb them myself as i dont want to pay much if i dont have to! what needs to be done?

whats needed to be done then to strip the paint off the old rocker cover then polish it up ?

u2u notts _v6 he stripped and polished my rocker cover its like a mirror top job takes a couple of days but its worth it

Nitromors, wet and dry, then rubbing compond, elbow grease or polishing attatchemnts for your drill

nott_v6 has also done beardys inlet manifold check his garage it is a lot of hard work

do 1.2 8vs have a rocker cover..mine doesnt...wouldnt have minded one jsut to look nice

It does, it's just small because it only has one cam to cover....
