im after mine done too toyed with idea of doing it myself but think i want it done rite lol
smoke grey standard vaux colour..how much we talkin since car is stripped out and a bit of intial preparation could be done to speed the process!

The bodywork and paint is in pretty good condition, im thinking black, not bothered about metallic paint. Would matt be cheaper?

i presume you mean flat not actually matt because as said above that would be hard to keep clean
Plus I keep thinking of the £1500 porche on top gear that was painted with black board paint and had noughts and crosses drawn on it

vauxhall quoted me over 2k to do mine, whereas the best bodyshop in my area according to others, quoted 1200

my mate works for carlton auto (delta styling) does work on the side and re sprays general cost £600ish and are top quality.
so any one in the yorkshire area wants any qoutes u2u me! am in barnsley sth yorks

my bodyshop charged me just over 1.7k for, filling and smoothing the boot, customising the CCM karnage bumper, fitting skirts, colour coding arches after trimming them, rapairing a small dent in the front wing... all painted in Solid Black
finish is still going strong after 8 months of driving 100miles (atleast) everyday.
