taken from my local cruise site:

quote:

I have just picked my car up from where it was sent to have my install sprayed and lets like say i have................LILAC SAND PAPER!!!!!!! I haven't seen a paint job as bad as this in a long time.

They drop and smashed my boot install and then sprayed over it and you can see the cracks.

Where they have gone to fix my back bumper they have chipped the middle of it either it has been dropped of they have reversed my car in to something!!!

The space round my subs and amps look like lilac RUFF wood.

I turned up and i said i'm here to pick the polo up they had no idea who i was and they just handed me the keys......I could have been anyone they missed spraying the top of my dash area OH and there are runs of paint all over my vents.

As well has that where they have tried to fix my back bumper they have sanded into the middle of the bumper which now has no shine and no varnish.

SO THANKS TO MIDAS FUCKING STYLING ONE FUCKED CAR which now will not be at donny.

Hope they enjoy there bill from Mynheer as they are now re spraying the whole install and back bumper.

Photo's will be up soon people

I'm sure theres two sides of the story,

if the car is indeed in that condition when he got it I would of given it back and told them to fix it, Midas seem to have a good rep but as usual when show season comes by some bodyshops tend to rush things.

Anyway don't believe everything you read on the Internet.

1 bad review after all the cars they have done

Hardly bad going, and as Willay said probably rushing to get cars out for the shows.

hmm not heard tooo much bad things about their workmaship untill now but they have done some pretty gash cars like that two tone one with lambo doors.

They seemd to have done a good job on brads but there are always a few that slip through the net Steve didnt the thunder corsa have a little overspray? on the white to blue?

One bad review? I think not.

I've heard plenty and seen plenty, spoken to unhappy customers too. But I'm not going to get into that ebcause thats between Midas and its clients.

This is true, no matter what now then S&T are going to do Rachels car, £900 but then I would rather her pay £900 for what she wants doing and get a excellent job rather than pay £400 and get a half arsed job.

Midas styling rich is a nice guy i recommend em 100% had my bonnet made by them!it wasnt straight and paint didnt match 100% (not his fault was due to haveing a picture to go by which wasnt all that clear) rich came nearly 150miles to collect the bonnet from me on a saturday was the only covnient time for me and fixed it up sprayed it again to match my piant and am 100% happy with finish and workmanship!

My Veiws on Midas are very High

i have know Rich for ages now hes a top bloke. As for his company again i can only say there work on my car was outstanding, he did little jobs i dident even ask him to just so it would be 100%.

when i got there to collect the car, there was a small knock on the rear (looked like somone had opened a door on it) Rich and the boys hadent Noticed (was very very small) and within 5mins of me pointing it out the boot was off ready to have it sorted and repainted that same day.
the paint job was stunning, really nice job, i admint there was 1 or 2 very very small defects (which you get in ever respray) in it which i noticed when i back it a wash when it was back home, but when i spoke to rich about them he was like "not a problem whenever you want to come down again i will have the all sorted for you."

I will use Midas again with every car i own in the furture for any work i need, i will also recomend people to them.

Midas get 10/10 from me
