Hey, I went on a drive yesturday, and after a while, at about 3k rpm in 3rd 4th and 5th at random intervals, the car would stop pulling, and the Engine management light would come on.

Sorta reminds me of when I ran out of petrol - but thats not it, theres half a tank in there.

The Engine is a 12v, done about 53k.

Any Ideas?

Right, I printed off the guide, had a look in my Fusebox, and there isnt even a Pin in socket 6

So my Paperclip test doesnt work, but the guide said only 99 and over didnt work (mines a 1998).

Any ideas? Its not gonna have to go to vaux is it? The EM lights getting more frequent now

On the 1.0 an 1.2 16v, you arn't able to do the paperclip test, so it'll have to be 'tech 2' i think. I might be worng cos i no nothin about engines, but i think i read this sumwhere.
