yeb i think crail is needed here, need to get her serviced since never been done also the trackin an wheel bearings......prob get beat tho unless its rainin, cant beat good old traction control

al race u nae bother skipz as i said a would prob get beat since its a heavy car....the weld is still holdin on the manifold, robert is goin to do something to it for better gas flow, dunno wot tho

Yeah....
Was crusin down the bypass... about half way down, saw a Black Astra pull out from a couple of cars away, just as it got closer a dropped to 3rd at about 50mph and gave chase.
Was starting to catch up and saw about 110 then braked for the round about.
Was about 2 car lengths behind, nailed it off the roundabout, got wheelspin, caught grip and kept the gap up to the next roungabout at the fire station. Overtook a motor between the fire station and the fishing boats then round towards the College again wheelspin heading round there.
I was impressed with it like, Not bad at all.
Glad she said 2.2 and not 1.8 or my car would have been up for sale!! 
Think we will have to go for a blast again...

2.2 astra's arent quick!  I was well surprised how easy I got past one... the driver was growling to feck when the wee 1.4 pissed on his loverly new 2.2

In all honesty i was really disappointed. Just a short stretch of dual carriageway... didnt even take full boost.

Astra mk4 2.2 156bhp (and a RR graph to prove it) and tracy's had hers off the clock (140 clocks) and It's STANDARD
Any Standard N/a car that can top 140 with less than 200bhp in my books is a fast car!
Might not Beat a 200+BHP R5GTT but it's already taken the Scalps off a few cars that under estimated it..
including catching up and sitting on the arse of a Ibiza Cupra R on the Way to Cumbernauld

Tracy's Car isnt even 100% perfect mate, still got a few niggly problems that are to get sorted and one VERY Bizzarre one that I cant figure out!!
Not saying it'll be any better when 100% but I'm really surprised your car didnt beat her i even said that on the phone to her!
Safest place to go for another blast is Crail on a Strip day

I raced ma mate in his 2.2 astra and it didnt seem fast I kept having to back off evertime I got close, Traceys car must be a bit over standard them

No idea Eck.. I've only Ever been in tracy's 2.2, as it sits right now, it's totally standard from factory.. It's even had a new Engine (old one f**ked up it wasnt her fault) People think she's modified it as it has the SRi-Turbo Prodrive Kit but that was an optional extra, and wa son the car when she got it,
I can Honestly say Tracy has in No way Altered anything that would increase power or acceleration
Her's got 156bhp on the rollers others are get 144bhp (as it states for the 2.2 in TV) it wierd.. but there's no doubting that it's bloody quick!!
Will be interesting to see Ryan And Tee on the 1/4 mile at a Crail thrash day!

I never got the chance to beat her...
She must have passed me doing about 80+
and i was in 5th at 50mph!
I dropped to 3rd and was catching no porbs...
After that it was on power in 2nd then just getting into 3 before having to hit the brakes again.
I'll have another go no probs....
I mean Civic type R's sturggle to keep up with me there about the same size with more power than a Astra.
