well i already got a new sill section to put on just needs a little repair on it, as for the front and rear hoping to repair them, otherwise looks for second hand ones! just wanted to get them off to check underneath etc, also easier to work on with the pannels off! mission getting them off tho all stuck on with sealer stuff!!! taken us all of afternoon to get the rear and side off! front was easy!

I was thinking the same.

Bet it cracks sub 4.0 second 0-60 without panels, or maybe not if the panels are integral to the cars aerodynamics.

I dont think you need to change anything on it really, just restore it back to pre crash and either keep it or sell it on, if you start changing too much you will have difficulty selling it again IMO!!

Looks ace with no panels

Should ring up your local Vauxhall dealership & tell them that you've had a small accident with a hedge. Then drive down in it like that & see what the say

thanx mate that means alot!!!! i love doing things like this and when people can appricate wot u are doing it makes it worth while! even more so than showing the car off after!!!

i wud love to tune the engine, just over 2k gets it to 270hp!! in a car that waighs just shy of a tone thats alot of power!

the VXR 220 that they did special edition had just under 220 bhp and got to 60 in 4.2 secs so imigine wot 270bhp wud do!!! ummmmm, should not be thinking bout these ideas just concentrate on getting it mended - lol just had it over the pit now trying to work out y the one rear wheel is got different camber to other:-S was hoping it was the rear wishbones, its not them we dont think, there is a small kink in top wishbone but thats on the side we thought was good - lol

ah well .....need to find undamaged vx 220 to mesure places, off to town now to find one with me tape mesure and spril level - hehe
