PS, old photo....been lowered 40mm since. Hate standard handling and ride height.

Total budget runabout though. Springs cost me £30!!

si, am i correct this was the cav that was lowerd in halfords car park, where you bought all the tools, did the job, then took them back for a refund

Indeed JR! Yup, in true pikey fashion! With help from 'Chip' if anyone knows him. The car is budget tastic and I sure as hell didn't want to spend cash on tools that would add up to the value of the car!

I had the tools anyway, so thought Halfrauds should just as well have had them back!! hahahaa

Plan was to drive to Chip's place borrow some tools, sit on his driveway and do the springs.

so we went to his lockup, dragged out some tools, found a corner of Halfrauds (in true pikey style) and did it there.

Chip's driveway was unusable. So he hinted at taking everything down to Halfrauds car park....with the option of buying tools if we needed them and of course cleaning them up and sending them in to get our money back. Which of course we duly did in true pikey style yet again

Got some rather strange looks in the carpark from onlookers as we pulled the suspension apart. A SW region VXLSCC group on their way back from an RR day in Bridgwater parked up and they all came over wondering why we were using Halfrauds carpark to lower this cav.

chip got the couple of mad novas, the intergra and the 3 door is'nt he, ive chatted to him on PF i belive

Yup, lives not far from me. Has a LET'd RWD Nova...which is on NOS....mighty thing that is. Looks cool too. Wide arch thing.

Yeah, that's it...although he has Astra Coupe wheels at the back now...not sure what he's planning.
