I have shares in Banco Santander, 8th largest company in the world. Shares were worth £100 on the day we got them which was August last year, there now worth £600, we can't touch them until 5 years time and there gonna be worth a decent amount

They're worth 617.51 PENCE, not pounds (Unless you meant you had a hundred of them and your total was around £600)....

I'm not disputing the returns, I'm just saying they're not worth £600 each

We buy our shares pre-income tax... and we are given a free share for each we buy -- similar kinda story... They're 63 Euro each though

Sorry yes 100 shares and they are now worth £600 quid

As we are staff of Abbey, when they took over they gave us all 100 shares, we can't sell them until we either leave or decide to sell them after 5 years after the day we signed the agreement to have them.
