my mate has a gsi non ecotec. he filled it to much with oil and now it wont start the wheels seem to be locked it started at first but then started back fireing anyone no wots happened.

too much oil lol
he will need to drain it, the valve to do that is underneath the engine

were gonna do that but once we do this will it be ok or has somet gone cause it seems to have seized up

no idea mate
my mate put too much oil in his new astra, drained it straight away and it was fine... at least i dont think he had to get owt done to it

the engine is coming out soon for a 2ltr so it dont really matter if its goosed

oil could be goin through the breather & into the inlet, or surgin up by the piston rings into the cylinders under pressure...
either way drain it & get it to the right level!
