Personally I wouldn't wait for a phone call back from someone over a car, especially if I'd offered them under the asking price?
Maybe I'm oversimplifying things there but the seller calls the shots as to whose money they take. I'm sure his name would have been mud also if you would have bought the car and it wasn't exactly as described. Not exactly a win-win.
After considering Drew and Chris's opinion on my moderation policies for about 10 seconds I've decided to trash the thread anyway. I'll give those who have participated sufficient notice and opportunity to reply but in the event that nothing interesting can be added it will be trashed tomorrow at some point.

would just like to add, after reading the whole post, i bought a bad boy bonnet off the Beardmyster and he was really good to deal with
bonnet no longer has smoothed washer jets though coz they sunk 
life can be a bit of a biatch widecorsa, if you really desperately wanted the car im sure Beardy would have answered the fone in the end, why bring all this up now?

Can't believe i missed this thread, was when i was on holiday
Beardy was a top bloke to deal with and even traveled half way to meet me (why would he do this if you were gonna buy it for the same price and pick it up!!!!!)
The car was also better than i expected with low millage, FSH and CAT 1 alarm so i have no complaints with him whats so ever, he even offered to pop in and fix the dash when i had a few problems and offered to have a go at the Head on the BMW!!lol. The only reason that i am not keeping the car was because of the problems i had with my BMW 3 days later which means that i had to borrow some money off my dad which i now wanna pay him back asap.
Sorry to top this thread but it looked like i was ignoring it and had problems with Beardy, which i don't
