HELP!!!!
Pass limits
CO 0.30 MAX
Lamdba 1.03 max, 0.97 min
My cars readings
CO 0.54 at fast idle and normal idle
Lambda 1.05 at fast idle
The mot place said they didnt have the equipment to fix it. Anyone got any ideas. It has a pipercrss induction kit, but would that cause it to be so far out?

Seems to be alot out though to just be the induction kit. Well im going to get it checked out tomorrow. I sprayed some 10 k boost to clear it out,, fingers crossed that will help a bit. ill get the lambor sensor looked at tomorrow. I will prob put the normal airbox back on as well.

Having spoke to a garage today, it would appear my induction kit could be the culprit. They told me to use some 10 k boost to clear the engine out, and replace the induction kit with the old panel filter.

Well the MOT place, kwik fit, and a small local garage all told me the filter wasnt helping. Im getting a re test on Thursday so will let you know if it was the induction kit.

it seems that many peeps have overlooked the catalytic converter! if this goes or begins to go your gonna have high emissions no matter what! no easy way of telling what it is though. Could be the cat, lamda sensor, or your air filter.

Well its now passed its MOT!!!!
Put the old filter panel back on, and the garage I took it to put something in the fuel tank to help clean it out.
The problem with the gsi and the induction kit is the air flow meter. Burns off more to compensate for the increased air flow.
Induction kit is back on, and all sorted.
