i have a import civic, with racing susp and a chip so far!
Just sold the free lupo and the fiat now realised i needed them to do the compact car cup! damn it

saving for the r500!!!

i was up til 3am playing it, got the b license, started the a license, fell asleep whilst doing one of the tests Woke up, tried to do some more but had to give in. Time to play more now

I was starting to think... hmm what is the point of B-Spec? after training up my one a little (shows its skill in your home, status)...

But, couple of cool things is, B-Spec allows you to enter some races you don't have licenses for to drive yourself! ... So can still compete and get money for it!

Also when B-Spec is racing you can go to director screen (where you see only the picture of lap times etc... not where ur watching yourself) - you press L1 then right twice and you can set the game to 3x Speed!

So long distance races can be done 3 times as quick. Ideal for when its a shit race.

before you start a race, its there as settings ... (same place u choose A spec / b spec) ... You then select anything with a spanner tool next to it to tweak... note you need a customisable gear box to tweak gear ratios, you need uprated suspension to tweak ride height, spring strength... etc...

You can adjust Driver aids also in this menu... I've got the oversteer set to 0 and understeer aids set to 10... (this means it won't try to stop the car oversteering, but if it understeers will brake one of the rear brakes to make the rear end come round)

mm just did that very sensitive now and car just slides all the time, oversteer at 3 and understeer at 10 and tcs down to 3 is better

yeh depends how u like it and what car it is?

If you have a RWD car I don't suggest what I suggested anyway.

front wheel drive civic just slides at all corners now
i think just reduce the understeer and tcs a touch and youre onto a winner

if its sliding side ways its lack of grip in general - get some better tyres, softer too.

been playing since i got in from work have an EVO 3 with 364bhp, is laggy as fuck though need to play with the settings as i cant beat anything that handles reasonbly well at the mo

Yeh I bet with the 4 wheel drive its understeering like a bitch - Plenty in the options to get that handling nice though

I remember in Gt3, when a car really would not over steer I'd slap some Hard tyres on the rear and soft on the front ... it solved the understeer

I keep playing it - I've got tonnes of coursework to do ffs!!! this is going to make me fail my exams.

yes basically its not very good, made the mistake of turboing the free lupo 151bhp but just spins everyware

haha bet it's a bit like my turbo'd Gti ... Go into settings - find drivers Aids... and change Oversteer to 0 or 1, and understeer to like 10 ... Should handle a bit better.

Got this today. Havent' played it too much just yet. Bought a second hand Evo VII GSR '01 which now sits at 424bhp and weighs 1200kg

Got the National B license and have won the Sunday Cup. So now I have 3 cars

Whats the B spec bit all about then? I didn't read the manual, just dived straight in

I was suprised with how many tracks are the same as in Gt3... though they've been tweaked graphically.

got my 100K from GT3, bought a second hand skyline R32, few engine mods, and the rest on handling, gearbox and clutch. 364bhp with 90% power at the back wheels

i just keep doing nurburgring,
try beat my lap time in the orange and black tuned up s2000,

7 minutes 41 seconds!
Quite proud of that!
