As some of you know im up north on thursday,
Trip is around 270 miles each way from my house down in hampshire/surrey,
What kind of things should I check before leaving my home Thursday afternoon?
So far I have done
Water coolant
Oil
Washer Jet Bottle
I guess I should check tyre pressure?
Any more I need to do?

You should check those weekly anyway, not just when you're going on a long trip.
Make sure you've got your wallet and phone charger.

With a new car like yours you really shouldnt have to check anything , the usual stuff should allways be checked.

check you have decent music with you!

Coolant, oil, screen wash, power steering fluid, brake fluid, tyre pressure, tyres and all lights work.
Watch out for those bastard speed cameras too

Music. If you aint got good music, then the trip will last 10x longer. Have a decent ammount of money on you, your mobile, in-car-charger, the AA/RAC number handy... hmm what else...
I guess you could take a stop at your local garage, and stock up incase you have an oil leak or something like that. Might sound farfetched, but who knows in these situations.

Check the spare tire's pressure too, not very useful if it's flat too.

I dont own one :E
With me having 17" alloys they pretty useless + My front discs are 320mm so a crappy 14" Steelie wouldnt fit! - Anyhow thats what i have AA cover for!!!
Think im all ready really, I'll check my tyre pressure on weds and thats it!
I agree with you all mind, I will have to burn some new CD's

270 miles aint all that much really, I drove Edinburgh to London last year and it took 10hrs each way And car didnt even have a CD Player
