0-60 is a bull shit figure the corsa needs an extra gear change to get there, i.e 3rd to hit 60, the vtr will hit it in 2nd

If only they'd widened the ratios slightly more in 2nd to reach 60...

I wonder if they did it on purpose just like limiting the engine

well up the limiter to 7200 and ull hit 60, bt still itll be on the limiter......not the best way to go fast

VTR doesnt hit 60 in 2nd. Just under it. 106 Gti only gets to about 65 in 2nd

reckon a set of SDB rollers, arp bolts, uprated valvsprings & clips might be able to survive uppin the limit to say... 7500???

Look at the date above your post bud

Ive had many a 1.6 Sport and VTR in my XSI, but its much lighter and has had a lot of engine mods.

mine hammers a vtr and my mates vts cant pull away who ever is in front will stay infront
