Hi ive just rang Norwich union and they have quoted me

£85 extra for a year

For these mods

peco exhaust bore 2
3d black rear lights
Induction kit

seems abit much as it is barely worth twice as much for the mods, im not really bothered about the amount it just seems stupid for what’s done seen as the insurance is £490 3 NCB age 20 for the car

They didn’t really care about the make of the mods and I was told a few years ago about the induction kit and they said it didn’t make any difference in the premium if it was non super/turbo charge which is understandable as power increase is minimal if any

It seems the induction kit has made the premium go up the most (5%) but I can’t understand why?

Any similar situations or can anybody add on this?

theres a massive commuication problem with these indian call centers anybody know where i can talk to somebody british to check everything is right cant understand what half of em are saying

i was with them. They are really bad for MODS. they didnt understand that i had a full s/s exaust!!!! she said to me 'but all cars have them'

go with a proper company, adrain flux. Mine costs me 800quid for full 1.6 conversion, all mods etc

you must inform them of everything otherwise they will tell you were to go when you have a claim to make, esp if its another insurance company that your claim with. why do you think they charge you more

How that? Also is there a difference between Norwich Union and Norwich Union Direct?
