johnno? il be there anyway starts at 7 at truck stop in whitchurch if you can get there, be nice to catch up with you lot aint seen ya for ages,

its your fault for the rapid engine transplant! did you do that lads turbo conversion? would like a turbo in next if someone offered me agood price for my engine. jst spoke to jonno, he's got work at 2am so he doubts he will be going down. will come up when i get my back from the bodyshop. need some chrome bits for the engine

you had no bonnet pins thats why it happened.

cus the carbon is so light you need pins to keep the bonnet down at high speeds,

most places will not sell a bonnet with out the predrilled bonnet pin holes.

the pins arnt just for looks or security there there for a reason.

then he should have drilled them

saying that allot of places dont sell them with the holes as its up to you where you mount the pins. i just know sum places do

Mine didn't come predrilled either! Had drilled holes for washer jets though (could have done without)!

Beardy's got the same bonnet with no pins either!

I've mounted bonnet pins my self! Realized it would be at problem without them!

people with Rx's, Supra's, S2ks etc.. also notice this with aluminum bonnets,

When i get above 100mph ish i notice my bonnet lifting up and over 130/140 theres about 1" of lift , scares me.

they look soo wank tho wiht pins, get them hydraulic rams that open and shut ur bonnet, that should b ok to hold them down

How in gods name should the hydraulic rams support it? They help to lift it UP not down...!
