Replace the sensor, mounted behind the lower grille in your front bumper.

I've got the same probllem with mine. I found the sensor but I cant get to the flaming thing.

Do I have to take my bumper off or what? If I try to reach downfrom the top, the radiator blocks me.

you dont need to do that much work to get at it, you access it through the grille of the bumper.....

Is it the black thing that hangs? Or is that something else?

Mine did this i replaced the sensor but still didnt work, the problem with the MFD is the plug in the back of them over time sometimes loosens the pins from the circuit board and they need re soldering, i did this to mine its very fiddly but fixed it a treat
