I was given two lengths of angle iron and some rivets and screws.
Do i rivet the angle iron along the sill about 5mm under where the gap for the door is then the top lip of the skirt sits on this and bonds to it.
Then i put a couple screws in the ends and make up about 4 brackets that hold the bottom of the skirt steady and rivet the brackets to the underside of the sill?
Then shave it to fit perfect and remove, spray and refit?
Is this the correct method?
Thanks

yes!
Also worst thing in the world with combat skirts is when you get a flat and you cant jack up the car because there's no jacking points-get a trolley jack

Use tigerseal to stick the angle iron on, then tigerseal the skirts to the angle iron

You sure that will hold? The angle iron is pretty hefty!
Will give it a shot as i got 3 tubes of tigerseal lying around.
