Me again
Latest problem with the tubby is she has a strange problem with power delivery. in 2,3,4 gear between 1800-2200rpm, she goes funny
To describe it the power seems to dissapear, almost li a flat spot. But in the same place in every gear, plus it can be jerky too, its almost like kangarooing . Its not something that happens 100% of the time but its happning most of the time, i might add as well, if i come off the throttle in say 4th between 1800-2200rpm it is SO sudden and quite violent!

could be a lot of things?
What plugs are you running, and when were they last changed?
Has the turbo noise got louder, you could have a boost leak?
On the GT every 3k she used to get new plugs, TB cleaned, ICV cleaned, AFM cleaned..... just to keep her running sweet

are you running standard?
if so, fit what is recommended for the c20let, if your running more boost, consider fitting smaller gapped coller graded plugs

im running standard with a large FMIC.
I think i need a new temp sensor too, would this also lead to similar problems? Or contribute?

could do.... depends if the ECU alters fueling etc for temps
change the plugs and temp sensor, go to work cleaning other parts with a can of carb cleaner.....
then go for a drive

Is it when you're giving it. Mine does this, it keeps blowing one of the jubilee clips off and air leaks between ic and inlet. I fixed it saturday before going southend, then it had done it again by the time i was back home.
I now have some new clips, gonna try the stronger looking one tomorrow.
