Definately better than a cheap cotton-gauze filter (ie, Max Power, Ractive, etc).
Green have a long history of making air filters.
Personally, I wouldn't touch ANYTHING that's cotton-gauze.

At least I didn't say "get a Pipercross filter" which is a surprise because Pipercross kits are the #1 foam filter brand in the UK.
