Cool, cheers Kris.

So why do people seem to have problems with them? Are they better suited to diesels because the engine bay runs cooler or something ?

What I was thinking though, was whether to get the Green cone, or Pipercross , because as u probably know, both make filters specifically for the 1.7 DTi.

Green twister works well and costs £90-£100.
Doesn't come with any fitting bits though, cost me bout an extra £50 for cold air feed and fitting bits.
Sounds like any other induction kit but with the sealed air feed on its a lot quieter.
I would run a drilled air box and pipercross panel but the standard air box wont fit in mine any more and my induction kit was sucking in too much warm air so went for the Green twister.

Ibought my car fully kitted out and it came with a K&N. My mates a mechanic and reckons that thats the reason why my engine is slowly dying he says the best induction kits for Vauxhalls are Pipercross or one from PVD

If buying new id buy foam as they are a lot easier to clean!
