since i put my new engine in, my central locking has been playing up... i lock the car then it unlocks itself straight away, leaving my car wide open for the little scrotes of today, what could it be ?

Have you disturbed any of the wiring when you wired in your new engine?
Might be that you've shorted out an earth or something somewhere, so when you lock it its still getting a signal or pulse from somewhere so thinking your unlocking it...
could end up draining your battery cos of it if you leave it stood for a few days!

depends on if its a standard cdl kit or aftermarket. some of them may require resetting or reprogramming after being disconnected from the battery for a long period of time, also check that the clamps that attach to the door lock pin havent come loose on one side, i had this problem before with mine and it was the clamps.
