i dont see why not considering they do it in bigger cars, like my old mans A6 etc etc. But you might have to cover up the silver foil side with something

go to your local vauxhall dealer and get the under bonnet felt from the desil corsa.

Dynamat do a specific product for lining the hood. Called hoodliner IIRC.

Yeah the guy that use to have the blue 2ltr Corsa in max power has the hoodliner stuff to stop his F40 vent from cracking with the heat

i dont find that dynamat actually stops sound travelling through very well, just stops vibration...
prob better things for the job than dynamat.
