Got a quote from tesco, best so far. Will i be covered for my modifications? Any advice would be appreciated, and if anyone has had problems with tesco insurance. Thanks John

insured my 17s with tesco they were cool about it, gotta pay money though u can do what u want as long as u pay what they say!!

any other websites where i can get quotes by stating modifications which are reasonable? theres no rush to pick up the phone yet and sort it.

the only other one i know where u can do it online i think is elephant.co.uk they are the only ones i no of, they mugged me off when looking to renew with another company but tesco are the only gd ones

ok cheers mate, so if i dont state my mods which is alloys, and lowered suspension, am i still covered in the event of an accident?im not bothered about the chance of gettin my alloys stolen or anything. thanks

im with elephant, they know about all my mod's gettin my bodykit fitted on friday so i just clicked that I had it on already, but the thing is, they have a back to standard clause in the contract so whats the point in tell em ive got it on if they wont replace/cover it

i was gona kit my car up, but i cant find a decent insurance quote so im just gona leave it now. i travel 2 uni so its gona rack up the miles anyway,im just gona save my money for a faster car for next year when im 21.

If you've not declared the mods then they may refuse to pay out.
Either way your car will most likely only be returned to standard.
