I'm not sure that going to be a problem considering how much you are looking at to fit an RST engine of that spec into a Ka. If you have enough money, I'm sure they could get a Cosworth YBB in there for you....

Well ill deffo think about that, thanks mate. Ive got 15.5k and well aint spending it all on the Ka, so how much you reckon the the engine rebuild and a YBB in there and highest spec rated ka, how much? Cheers mate, youve made me think, considering pumaspeed didnt even metion it 2 me :?

The YBB comment wasn't really serious!
All I was trying to say is that there is a few grands worth of engine in your original spec that wouldn't really be required for a Ka, you'd have a really hard time insuring that aswell. I had enough trouble insuring my Escort RST when I was 19. If I were you I'd get a base car more suited to the role, if you want a Turbo ford get an Escort or a Fiesta RS to start with.

And a word of warning, those engines (especially modified) require a lot of maintenance. My RST was having work done every month, granted it wasn't always the engine but it was crippling me.
