I just got my new FK coilovers on, and the handling is all over the place! Its really light at speed, and really heavy when trying to park, there is loads of steering judder and also the steering wheel sits off center. Also when aproaching full lock, suddenly the wheel just snaps to the right/left depending on which way your turning, and i have to wrestle it back!?

What the hell is going on? Is it just tracking that needs to be set up or what? Im a little peed off to say the least, i've heard great things about these coilovers...

Read your first post again.... def sounds like the dome bearings arn`t fitted to the top of yhe coilovers, also its very easy to knock the front camber out of line as the holes for the bolts on the suspension legs are elongated. Take it to a pro!

Well he's done loads of work on my car, and i know him well. I highly doubt he's fitted them incorrectly, he's lowered 100's of cars.

Yes.

Camber isn't so critical but could affect it.

Tracking is certainly the cause of much of the problem, you always always need to track it after you lower!

Just went down to the local ATS, and they couldnt do it because it was so low Also i just noticed, the camber angle on the front is negative (I think) I.e. It sticks out at the bottom and tucks in at the top... Is it suppose to be like this

Yep, when you load weight up on to one side of the car, that becomes a tyre which is perfectly flat on the road = most grip.

So its good that my camber angle is like that? I thought it was bad as it eats tyres or something

Struggling to find somewhere that can do it, its too low

I dont really understand... So if i want can i get the camber set more straight? Or am i stuck with it like that because thats what the coilovers do? Lots of people keep telling me you cant adjust camber on Corsa's, but you just said to get the camber and tracking done, suggesting to me that it can be changed?

can get camber done but youll need modified parts to do it!

As said most of your problems do seem to be tracking related!

Negative camber is good mate, nearly -2 degrees on mine IIRC

Tyres don't last as long as they would normally tho, but who cares when you live close to dozens of roundabout like me
