Mitsubishi UK have at last released official information on the FQ-400 today.

In summary, the performance figures are:




405bhp @ 6400rpm and 355lb ft of torque @ 5500rpm

0-60mph in 3.5 seconds, 0-100mph in 9.1 seconds, top speed in excess of 175mph

Indeed, the rolling road I work next (Owen Developments) as you see make the manifold etc for them They have SHITLOADS of Evo's down here everyday

It's about 48k, but considering the mods are worth around 12-14k and you get a 3 year warrenty I don't think it's too bad. Will rape many 'supercars' Was tempted to order one but would rather finish my Makinen as thats an all time Evo classic

looks good that but im curious to know if it can be a serious contender against supercars - such as ferrari's, porsches etc.
I suppose if those figures are achieved, then it suppose it wouldnt be far behind a supercar, but i still dont think it has the power to rape one

btw, can these be tuned further?

Is this the model that went head-to-head with the pagani zonda and won in a car magazine last month?

Cn't remember which mag though, might have been autocar or something but wasn't some crap like max power or fast car though

Traction and handling, would like to see many super cars keep up with it down a B road. And yeah it was up against the Zonda last month and did VERY well so theres your answer...can be tuned up, many Evos running well over 800bhp now
