when i worked in an office i went through an agency and a job ad stating 'expereince not essential,full training given' then after a while if you make good progress they will probably take you on permanately

I left school with crap GCSEs, and now im designing Electrical Control panels for the likes of Wessex Water

What about in the logistics / Transport game plenty of office work from arranging loads and genral office work like data entry filing track and trace the list goses on to bullshitting customers on the phone coz some warehouse guy forgot to load there package on the vechile
but expect some sh*t even crap hours money should be good and can be a stressful job but that all depends on how you look at it
me i see it as a crack and every day is as mad as the last been there 5 years now
you guys dont buy anythink from Apple computers as chances are you we will be calling you to arrange a suitiable time for delivery o and we never get there on time lol
but the driver is stuck in traffic or has run into a problem is an old trick

More like.....Now you use a computer package that designs the frames for you
to a certain degree, but i have to work out the point loads and main structure

A mate of mine has lied about qualifications he doesn't have and got an office job. He knows his stuff but fucked around at college and got the boot. I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS AS SOME OF US HAVE WORKED HARD TO GET QUALIFICATIONS.

I think you should go to night college and get some qualifications. Harder said than done but it makes you feel good when you get there in the end.

i've quit my a-levels as got offered a job while doing some work shadowing.

have learnt things on the way, and done a few training course's, got a few more qualifications now.

Went straight from A-Levels to learn AutoCAD, I now am a Engineering Technician designing new housing developments.

And plus im getting paid to goto University on day release so best of both worlds kind of.

I've done ok in GCSE's, ok at A-levels, and pretty damn good during a 4 year Business Computing degree, getting a 2:1.

Still can't get a job round here.
