but thats a bit of a silly question. Ask when you can actually buy a 2.0 standard. I think it wouldn't plus is the scoob allowed to spend a couple of K on mods?

standard for standard no , the corsa would find it hard to get traction while the 4wd scoob would be long gone.

Didnt CraigPCG's old corsa beat a WRX down the strip once 
straight line, if tuned a bit 'probably/likely'
round a track... no fookin chance!

A didnt mean a standard 2.0 straight out of a show room, That would just be daft A meant a standard 2.0 turbo eninge like out of a cavvy or summin! And no mods for both! Maybe a Limited slip diff for the corsa tho! Cos Corsa's rock and they should win!!! And am no sayin they will thats just for talking sake!!!!

no you cant put a slip diff as then it is not standard, if you mod the corsa then mod the scoob the scoob will win.

I think alot is to do with the power to wieght Ratio aswell, But as sum1 said up there the Corsa would struggle for traction! Cos Soob's bein 4WD have all the traction but Ad say letting a Corsa have a LSD would be a fair match to the Soob's 4wd

I can have most UK spec scoobys in a straight line and can stick to the back of some import versions, they pull away from me but not by much.

TBH most uk spec scoobys arnt that impressive, off the mark there quick but once on the move there 4x4 saps most of the power from them
