i am looking to buy this engine for my corsa, but i need to know if its a c16xe or an x16xe

i dont want a c16, as my car is x14 already and it would be better for me to put an x16 in

can anyone shed any light on the type of engine in the 1995 astra 1.6 16v sport?

is it X prefixed or C?

yeah, i asked somewhere else
that only has 100bhp, and even with the lexmaul, viper and BFO, it'll be less than i have at the moment, so i dont think i'll be doing that

would you believe my car has 122 bhp and 113lb/ft

i was surprise considering i only have those 3 mods, and used a (large) splace of 76 cool blue race fuel in my optimax!!

nope
well lane turbo centre, took ages to get there

i'm not really sure if the figs are correct, sounds a bit much to me

u bringing yours along to the next vxlscc rolling road meet at northants motorsport?

i'll be there, so we'll see how much power i really have then

last time it was 97.5 bhp

so i want about 105-115 realistically

Different inlet manifold for the X16XEL apparently.

You'll need the Type 2 ram induction, you have the Type 1.

X16XEL smells. That's why they put it into the Mk4 (smelly) Astra.

ok, so you'd want suspension, standard exhaust? that may be harder as it has a bfo, matty has/had my airbox, but sold it with perky, and he had the wheels too

everything else is standard, headlights, and tail lights i still have

and... my car has only done 9615 miles, and is a year newer than yours
