Hi All... following on from someones lame excuse for bad news in a morning, heres mine.

I wake up Friday morning to a knock at my door, it was my best friends brother and his girlfriend... i had a shiver! They said...

Its Scott (aka Moose_boy on here)... my face dropped! They said he was in a car accident about 11.30 lastnight (thursday night) and i said is he ok. They looked at me, my heart sunk... "he died Leanne.... straight away"!

I didnt wanna believe it, i only did when i saw his girlfriend pour out in tears! I nearly died! They told me what happened!

He took a corner too quick, it was wet, clipped a kerb and smashed into a tree, uprouting it and into a hedge. He died instantly. It took the police 4 and a half hours to cut him out. He broke his neck and ended up in the passenger seat!

I'm only putting this up in his memory, he came on here quite a bit and i'm sure he'll be glad we are doing our bit for him.

He was my best friend and i miss him so much.

I just want to let you all know and i hope you read this carefully because you dont realise what you've got until its gone.

I hope this makes you think twice about dangerous driving or not wearing a seatbelt. Take it easy on the roads dont try to rush things... just set off earlier! Better to be there safe then rush and cause accidents or be in one yourself!!

Look after one another.

RIP Scott xxx

P.S Can we make this sticky Ian/Tim???

Thanks you guys & gals x

My friend died in an RTA back in May, you never think that it will happen to you untill it does

I hope people learn from this chick

Sometimes the only thing that kept me going was holding onto the theory that 'everything happens for a reason'.

I know it doesnt seem like it atm, just remember your not on your own and we all love you

That is very sad news to hear.. I didn't know Scott, but it still makes me very very sad!

I can't imagine what you're all going through right now!

Like Alli said though, stick together.. talk to people, and always remember that someone loves you!

It really makes you think if there is a God when things like this happen doesn't it. Best wishes to you and his other friends and family. Just think of the good times you had together and you will never forget him.

Leo, I know exactly what your going through, this happened to one of my mates a couple of years ago. I think its worse because they are so young with all their life ahead of them.

Best thing is to be around friends and help each other through it.
