i've always thought if u get 6 points in the 1st 2 years of driving u get banned i got 3 points on my license at the mo, got them when had been driving 1 year bang on. but yea, i've always thought 6 points n ur banned?

you'll get a letter from DVLA saying your licence will be revoked in 5 or 7 days (cant remember which) im afraid. It is automatic and you cant appeal against it - only the points that took you up to 6 points

Its not a ban, you just have to re-apply for a provisional etc, and if u keep ringing up for cancellations you could get ur test pretty soon!!

This is what happened to me, although I was never informed of my license being revoked.

I thought because the points went on my license after the 2 year period I had got away with it.

Not until I got pulled on my moped for having no L-plates that I found out my license had actually been revoked and I was riding without a valid license.

You gotta think though, to be caught doing a true 53mph, with speedo inaccuracies, you would be travelling at 58-60mph.

I personally think its fair play.

Dude your banned untill you can bok in a driving test and pass it, if ya really unlucky like calidus you might get a 6-12 month complete ban
