so that i didnt have to run a split charge for the ice build, ive got a big battery up front (loads of room being a 1.2 8v in engine bay) needed to bend battery tray, cos of the size of a 2.0l will i have to put a smaller battery in, and change to a split charge in future??

I don't think its that critical.

Most people ditch their ICE when the music starts coming from the engine bay anyway

You can see the battery tray here, thres still quite a bit of room.
