Hi
My problem:
Sometime when I'm turning a right corner I hear a knocking noise coming from the front left suspension, secondly when I'm braking over a rough bumpy road I can feel lots of vibrations through the brake pedal. I just want to know if the two are related and if there is something wrong with the car? Its a 53 Corsa SXI.

the moving brake pedal could be warped brake discs...
CV joints for the knocking, or diff is on its way out...
BUT saying this..... the car is 1yr old or so, yes?
Surely its still under warrenty? Take it back and see what the munkeys say

Registered on the last day of last year so 7 months old. Only done 3600 miles! Do you think I should take it back to the garage?

It's under warranty by the sounds of it, so definitely.

 take it back for sure and demand its fixed....
Is it still on std susp, wheels and brakes? If not they may point out rightly enought hat these have added extra stresses to the working parts...... and not help you

i had this problem with my brakes m8 does it make a wierd noise too and the pedal sort of vibrates badly?i took mine bk,its also a 53 reg,and they just kept sayin i had dust on my brakes but i was told by sum1 else thats just my abs so im at a loose end and have just left it 4 the mo

ABS should only cut in when you are breaking grip, or near to breaking grip.... i.e as a last resort. It shouldnt be ABS

The cars totally standard, sounds like I have the same problem as you Davidp18. I'll take it down to the garage tomorrow and let you guys know what they say.
