Set of Koni's/Bilstein shocks and the handling is better than the VTR - Zetec-S

i have a full suspension kit from FK which will be on straight away, so in terms of acceleration etc, is the sport slightly quicker than a zetec s?

I got a sport its only got drilled air box and full s/s zorst system and I beat vtr's & fezzy ZS with ease, stick it in 3rd gear and it keeps pulling (loadza torque in comparison to vtr & fezzy) they look better than both of 'em too in my opinion!! Bad side is handling, but slam it on some coilovers and uprate the bushes, etc and its handling is dramatically improved!! Also if ya spend a few £££'s on the engine u can get it up to 200bhp!! I would choose the sport over a gti pug and vts saxo...not trying to cause a long winded argument....but I think they're great and very sturdy/well put together + u get a few lil extras too

even more underpowered than a corsa 1.6

the arguments are starting mate lol. a standard 1.4 corsa cannot keep up with a standrad VTR on a straight road, let alone around bends

I think if u lined up a pug gti, saxo vts, corsa 1.6 sport/gsi, fezzy zs, vtr & 1.4 corsa sport and they all raced on a strip it wud end up..

pug gti
saxo vts
corsa 1.6 gsi/sport (just behind vts)
vtr (a lil bit behind 1.6 sport/gsi)
1.4 corsa sport (just ahead of fezzy zs)
fezzy zs

thats my opinion

ha ha!!
Well thats the suspension covered, check to see when the timing belt and rollers were last changed as the rollers are common to breaking up.
Also check for b pillar cracks, and that the car doesnt run too hot and the ecu light doesnt come on!

a vts will waste a 1.6 sport!
My old red corsa with manztzel, cams and exhaust only used to just beat a vts, but on the twisty there gone
