Need to put my positive amp wire through the bulk head to the battery. I know there is a grommit already there with vauxhall standard wiring in. However its really hard to reach into there with battery and coolant tank in place. Should i take out the coolant tank and then would it be much easier or is there another way? Cheers.

oh there's 2 grommets is there? because i was planning on wiring it through the grommet beneath the glovebox about level with the shelf. I'm gonna need to take out the battery and coolant tank to make it easier aren't i? Also do i cut a whole in the grommet or can i just poke it through existing holes?

I found it a nightmare to get the amp wire through! The best method I found was to thread a metal wire through the amp wire, double it back, thread the chaser wire through, then use the wires as handles to really pull the amp wire through.

Took ages to figure it out and to do it while keeping the grommet in place!

ooh all done now. The grommit is the hardest part - i ended up taping the wire to a screw driver and poking that through the grommit. Worked a treat.
