according to an unamed source - top speed on standard limiter and f15 will be 124/125mph

my old engine was a 1.4 16v so f13 box? the 1.6 i have now has the 1.6 16v box, f15? and the ratio's seem the same but on ur chart that means with a 7k limit ill do 154mph!!! wow!

recieved and replied! as i said in the u2u seems right in 3rd gear and then goes wrong from there.

there are two F15's..... well, two F15cr

One has a long final drive, the other shorter....

not sure on what is what....

but the 1.6 16v sports would reline around 118 i think, and the early GSI would do just short on 130

a 500bhp corsa running either gearbox will still have the same top speed

yes..... but the FINAL RATIO in the gear box allowed for a higher speed at 6250rpm or whatever.....

its all down to gearing

yes what adams saying is that the early GSI's came with a box that allowed a higher top speed than the box in the sports
