I bought a Corsa B Combat 2 Front Bumper from ffwdmotorsport, payed £235 (with spotlights). And it needs fuckin about with to make it fit, there are mounting brackets on it, but they are too big, so it makes the edges stick out (by the wheel-arch covers). Are there actually ANY bodykits out there which just bolt straight on without needing to be fuked about with? This is the second bumper i have bought now, i bough one off ebay and that was the same. This really pisses me off, and its not as if i don't know what i'm dong, i been doing cars for years. Can you ppl help me out, and please tell me you've all been through this????

Fibreglass kits will never fit straight on, there made cheep so u get crap basicaly

if u get a plastic kit then they fit pretty much straight on, but then u pay for quality

My carzone front went straight on, but needed to make 2 metal brackets to hold the bottom in place, which was dead easy.

When i first got my combat 2 i tried it on for rough idea. At time i thought it wouldnt go any where near.

Put it on few weeks back and was a very easy bumper to fit, compared to some of the bastard bumpers there are out there (AMG SHITE!)

Admitedly fiberglass is a total load of terd to fit as theres so little movement and the inside of the bumper is roughas.

Firstly i taped the bumper into the rough position i thought it should be.
Took off, drilled a hole where the raised section is, took wing bolt out, put a bolt through the raised section offered it up, put a 13mm nut on it tightened it up and then put another nut on to make sure the first doesnt undo through vibrations. Drilled through holes in bumper into front panel and self tappered.

Rear bumper is just held on in the same places as original rattles like a pillhead but nowhere else to hold it, sill covers held onto the plastic arches usin self tappers, windscreen sealer(-The hardest thing apart from 1 that ive ever had to try and get off my hands.) along the inside bottom edge to hold the length to the car.

Only problem is that fiberglass is made to fit 1 persons car, not every model of that car. For example if you've had an accident and repaired it it wont be the same!

Hope this helps, good luck!

(you'll need it)
