Im lowered -40mm on spax springs at the moment, but the ride is so bumpy i really need some uprated shocks i think!
anyway, i have been looking but cant find many places that do just the shocks alone, so far i have found:
set of kayaba gas shock absorbers for £106 from carnoisseur
or
set of gmax shock absorbers for £130 from larkspeed
or
set of monroe shock absorbers for £112 from larkspeed

which ones should i go for or any other suggestions?
Thanks

Gsi dampners are considerably tougher than your 1.2s dampners.

Suspension is a very important part of your car and it may be worth investing in a proper susp. kit for around £350-£400 you can get a decent koni or bilstein setup of which will be wonderfull!

Harder dampners will take the 'bounce' out of the springs. Its a cheaper option. It won't make it higher cos the spring supports the car not dampner.

you really need shortened shocks, this will allow the piston to have full travel up and down. harder standard length shockers won't take the bumps away.
i have koni's on mine and they are the same length as standard shocks. since dropping the 2.0 in my front end has dropped about -60mm ( using -30mm eibachs's), my ride is now too bouncy regardless of having my koni's on soft or hard setting due to the fact piston has little travel.

i'm gonna get coilovers to cure the problem, but a set of shortened shocks should help you.

g-max and spax do them along with others.
